Genuine Leather

Genuine Leather is the debut album by Oslo based artist and producer Murmur. Exploring honesty, the nine tracks act as diary notes in a semi-electronic, unpolished universe of dreams, obsessions and confessions. With synths, acoustic guitars and characteristic vocals, Murmur has created an intimate and eclectic universe referencing the alternative soundscapes of the 90s and early 2000s that influenced her musical awakening.

Genuine Leather is written, performed, recorded and produced by Murmur (Sunniva Mellbye), mixed by Marit Othilie Thorvik (Jouska) and Hans Olav Settem (Benedikt), and mastered by Joel Krozer at Six Bit Deep.
